Call to Order

  • Meeting called to order at 9:00 AM by Dave Jamrog
  • The weather was very cold and windy, the meeting was very short and sweet

Secretary’s Report

  • The secretary’s report was not reviewed or voted on due to the cold weather

Treasurer’s Report

  • The secretary’s report was not reviewed or voted on due to the cold weather

Safety Report/Field Maintenance

  • Bob Kovaks mentioned need to form a clean-up party
  • Dave J discussed the need to make some repairs to the safety fence.
  • Mort stated that there is no need to purchase new fencing since the Park Township club is being disbanded and the fencing can be used at our field

  • Dave reached out to Landlord; there is no concern over renewing the lease, Dave to schedule a meeting to get lease extension signed for an additional 2 years.
  • Landlord rolled the flight field.
  • Reminder of the hotdog night scheduled for June 4th at 6PM

Alpha Sport 450 Maiden Flight

My son Lucas was able to maden his Alpha Sport 450 this past Saturday. We were able to get two flights on it. The first flight we handed the transmitter back and forth, which did not work so well. The second flight we borrowed a buddy box and cable which worked much better.
