Skymasters Heli Fun Fly

Plans are finalized for the fourth annual Skymasters Heli FunFly this
coming Sunday, July 28th. The event will be held at the Skymasters
field on Scripps Road (between M24 and Joslyn) in Lake Orion, MI.

Pilot’s meeting at about 9:50AM. First flight at 10AM.

All heli types are encouraged…. gas, glow, electric and
turbine. Scale helis are particularly appreciated.

This year, in addition to the usual three flight stations and
separate area for smaller helis, we also have an additional exclusive
heli-only field on the south side of the parking lot. Come check it out.

We will have a drawing for some prizes at about 11:45AM and then the
field will close at 11:55 for a noon flyby and landing of a full
scale AW-139 twin turbine heli operated by the US Customs and Border
Patrol. Should be exciting!

We will reopen one flight station on the main field and the entire
south heli field after the AW-139 has landed for those of you who
would like to continue flying while the full scale heli is onsite.

The full scale heli will depart around 12:45 and the other two flight
stations will then reopen.

This is a free event. Food will be available onsite for a donation.

See you there?
